Bouky (that’s in the Kuwaiti dialog) meas “Wallet” is a new service in trail phase provided only by NBK, Zain and VISA, where you can pay for your purchases by your mobile phone. This service is provided commercially in Japan and some other countries.
As it’s only in trail phase here in Kuwait until September it is only provided in the Avenues Mall in Al-Shaya stores, IKEA and Cinescape.

Don’t worry about security there is a pin code just like a K-Net debt card and a service hot line if you lose your phone. Oh yes by the way currently it only works on one phone so that’s a disadvantage but it’s only temporarily until iphone developer come up with a appe.
At the store who provide this service you will find the device below displayed at the casher table.

Well it’s really a nice idea, which it helps me specially forgeting my wallets in my car or at home.
But I think they should use other mobiles rather than Nokia. Specially Blackberry and iPhones.
So we are happy to see more with these types of technologies in Kuwait.
Currently its only this Nokia phone since it’s in trail phase inshallah afterwards it will be used for other phone no doubt for the iPhone there is a case for this technology cause its a SW and HW technology.
