Omar Al-Khayyam (عمر الخيام) musical play about the famous polymath,mathematician, philosopher, astronomer, physician, and poet.
I was invited by Loyac to attend the musical play at ASK in Hawalli and man i was in a treat. The music play has exceeded my expectation Big time!!
Just to tell you how good the performance was, i attended Broadway plays in Manhattan, NY (The Phantom of the Opera, Lion King and Chicago) and Omar Al-Khayam by Loyac was Broadway material no doubt, no question.
The performance, acting, scenario, characters and music was just perfect. Today is the last day of the play if you like this kind of entertainment you will regret missing it.

We really need more of these plays to remind us of our great Islamic hiragana, culture and history that i’m extremely proud of *Standing Ovation* for Loyac team.

Anything to emphasise the importance of our heritage is great. If, as you say brownsuger, this is broadway material, maybe they should take the next step. I remember watching The Lion King….superb! Although listening to the British accent was different
I’d love to see other plays…in Broadway of course.
I hate the British accent , but I did enjoy Lion King in London
