East meets west thing, I like it when people get creative presenting simple food to add something unique to their menu. Hope to see this in any of Kuwait breakfast places, amazingly no one has thought about it though The Early bird has something similar called sushi pancakes (selected fresh fruits wrapped in pancake served with maple dip on the side) served on weekend only, I think!
By the way, does anyone understand that Japanese writing? Hope it is about food

Ok its official everybody the early bird at Jabriya has opened its doors and kitchen for the public today so open your mouths and tummies hehe.
A day before the launch Bianca – the co-owner – invited us for a food testing session; the food was off course as delicious as the branch in Fehaheel but with a closer location now.
It seems that the staff of the Fehaheel branch will be working in the Jabriya branch and the new staff will be taking the places of the Fehaheel branch, smart move.

Yesterday Itsalllg000d and I went out and on our way back we passed through Jabreya so we decided to check out the new “Early Bird 2”.
It’s also small which is a feature I like, it give a cozy atmosphere to it and I think it’s becoming a theme for The Early Bird.
It have about 4 to 6 tables inside and about 4 tables outside, the difference is there are two benches on the corners for more people to set in.
The only dislike I got on The Early Bird 2 is its location you’ll know what I mean when you get there, it’s in Jabreya Block A1, Street 5 or 6 not sure but it’s easy to find since it’s around famous places you just can’t miss. Keep Champions women gym on your right and Fuds on your left then take a right when you reach the T take left and drive straight you will find it on you right hand side if you see the video store on your left you’ve gone to fare.

Last week my friend Fahad suggested that we go have breakfast at a restaurant called “The Early Bird” located in Fahaheel near the Koot Mall (see map), I don’t know how he found this place but it’s very cozy and small (maybe a 5X6 msq) it has about 4 to 6 tables, the staff is very friendly led by the owner here self Ms. Bianca from LA, the atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious.
I guess the business case for this restaurant was targeting expatriates like school teachers and soldiers as my friend Naser mentioned but it picked up very well with a variety of customers since its opening back in March of 2008. I strongly recommend you visit The Early Bird I’ve been there 3 times already. Keep in mind they only serve breakfast.
Opening times are from 5 AM till 3 PM.
Opens 6 days a week and closes on Sunday
On weekends the place is packed so call them for reservations on # 23925814. also check out Th Early Bird web-site
