Google Chrome OS (For NetBooks)

On Jul 7th 2009, Google announced their new project Google Chrome OS. The new OS is consider an attempt to replace Microsoft and MAC OS. “The Google Chrome Operating System. It’s our attempt to re-think what operating systems should be.”  Google blog

The Google OS is a fast lightweight open source OS for netbooks; it is expected to available for consumers in 2010

Watch out for the Big G :)

    Just a little correction..
    They said it’s for Netbook, not Notebook..
    and there is a small difference between net and note one.
    Netbook usually refers to products that use a small processor Intel Atom.
    I’ve got one the pinky MSI from Carrefour
    we can’t do the hard work with it.

    I think its going to be great to try out this new OS.. nice and lite! Gonna put it on my new Netbook that I plan on getting! The HP 5101!

    Totally agree! Everyone relates Mac to creativity, innovation … etc let’s see how this impression will stand to Google :) I like the fact that Google believes in open source!
