Strange home designs in Kuwait

Monday, August 6th, 2012

Back in April blog Bananaq8 made a post about Exotic houses in Kuwait but i guess he missed this one.

This Chines design house is located in AL-Salam area. I was with Itsallg000d visiting a friend where we were shocked to see this house design.

Personally i don’t like it, i’m more into modern designs or modernized Kuwaiti house designs.

Trying out the Harley Davidson ;D

Monday, April 30th, 2012

Ok some of you might be looking at the picture and saying “this is a Chopper not a Harley Davidson” will yes and i’m not the one in the picture as well but keep ready to know what’s up.

Recently i got my motorbike license but it’s the end of the riding season :( so i’m just trying out some friends bikes.

Yesterday a friend told me about Kuwait Choppers a workshop in Shewaikh that customizes Motorbikes, Jetskees and Cars.

I gave them a visit with Itsallg000d to check them out and i was impressed.  Have a look.

This was customized by Kuwait Choppers its called a hubless bike and its the only one in the world :)

I’ve got a chance to drive one of the Harley’s for sale over there it was my first time to drive a Harley Davidson, i used to train on a BMW bike with tristar, the feeling is different but not that much. It was really exciting :D Driving a Harley and a Chopper is a hole different ball game.

Check out the garage i’m really impressed.

Not my type of bikes, looks like some one kicked it from behind tongue

I don’t have a picture of me riding the Harley, Itsallg00d didn’t take my pic ;/ anyway if you are interested in their used Bikes or want to do customization you can contact them here:

Dubai Armani Hotel experience <3

Wednesday, April 18th, 2012

Its an exciting post for me :) so last weekend i was in Dubai, who was following the blog on Twitter and/or Instagram know ;)

For fun of it i booked at the Armani Hotel Dubai  if you don’t know it it’s the hotel at the entrance of Burj Khalifa (the tallest standing structure in the world).

I arrived Friday early morning and was at the Armani about 10:30 am there was a choice of having the hotel pick me up from the airport by a Bentley  but that would cost A.D. 500 so i didn’t go with since i payed a lot for the room :/

As we entered we were greeted, our luggage cared and seated for check-in were the check-in procedure really took long because we came too early :/ so about 11 am we entered our room

Everything in the hotel is Armani design i’m not talking about the staff uniform and talking about chaser, spoons lights, rugs perfumes everything (o_O)

The room was so stylish (of course) where i think there was a Japanese inspiration or influence where the TV, Minibar, closet and bathroom doors are sliding doors just like the Japanese architectural.

Upon check-in we were assigned a lifestyle manager that take care of all our needs (a fancy way to say butler :P ) he gave us his number to call him anytime if we needed anything and she explained the features of the room.

I love the Armani bathroom i don’t i have a thing for fancy bathroom. In the shower the water come from around the sealing light so when the water hits you you light up amazing.

Also during our stay we used Armani Spa and the treatment was so pampering (دلع) i didn’t want it to finish.

What’s great about the Armani is not just the design or facilities, the staff were very nice and the location is just perfect if you want to go shopping at Dubai mall it’s a 2 minute walking distance, even for business its great and the restaurants are waaaw, we had lunch at the Japanese restaurant there called “Hashi”  we were seated at the tiers in front of Dubai mall fountain. By the way Hashi means Chop Sticks in Japanese :)

The experience was amazing almost perfect if it wasn’t for the delay we faced at check-in. I highly  recommend the Armani you should try it out or try their restaurants.

iPhone Entrance

liked this iPhone door frame of Viva’s iPhone 4S promotion. I think they have them all over the avenues parking entrances. it would have been better if they added more iPhone culture in background picture inside each frame.

Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

I’ve been hanging out at the salad boutique for the last week, kinda like it now :) that one at the Avenues, i observed that interiors design of the boutique and saw the dinning utensils in the concrete floor of the restaurant and i thought they dropped down and no one had paid attention.

I was just about to call the waitress to pick them up but then i thought hummm something is funny about those utensils then Oh! it hit me they’re part of the floor :/

I want to be held in “This” Police Station [Design]

Monday, July 25th, 2011

Some one at the German Architect firm Gesamtkonzept must have thought “Why don’t we build good looking police stations?!” and so they did. This mobile police station is now stationed in front of the Turkish consulate  in Hanover, Germany.

I’m trying to imagine the local version of it… Chabra maybe? GMC Astro Van? a Desk under a tree? or better yet non at all. lol.
