Some of you might read the title of this post and say what’s EVO will here you go:
The Evolution Championship Series is an annual video game tournament that focuses exclusively on fighting games. In fighting game communities it is commonly referred to as “Evo”, and is currently the premier video game tournament for fighting games.
Fikra will be organizing this event for Kuwait qualifiers and the winner will travel to LAS VEGAS to attend the EVO championship.
The detail are in the poster above if you are interested join the qualifiers and play to win, best of luck to you all.

Last Saturday i was invited by Zain social media team to attend “1st Regional Technology and Social Networking Forum” and we had – the social media ppl- a 6 hour session with Mr. Jeff Bullas. Leading International Expert in Social Media, Australia.
It was quite nice getting a complete picture about the social world out there and having a peak at the future of social media.
When we started the blog we just wanted to use some of our free time (which unfortunately we don’t have anymore) and share with ppl our interests, never thought social media (The Blog) would be a big deal and reach the high limits we’re experiencing now.
Moving on most of what was told in the forum was common seance to me. The Social Networking was a 2 day event ending this Sunday, unfortunately i couldn’t make it on Sunday, i do have a career to attend to. But it would have been great attending, check out the speakers.
Another unfortunate facts is i didn’t see any blogger i know :/ hummm maybe there where bloggers but i didn’t see Oh yes ! 7ajidude was there & Q8Stig

So last week was Kuwait bike show. I’m a big fan of bikes although i don’t own one at this moment but that doesn’t stop me from being a fan
The customized work and pint on the bikes is really interesting some are very strange or even i can call it weird up to an extent that i’m wondering who they can ride them in that way.
The event was really nice with all the fence bikes but wasn’t organised, i hope they do a better job next year
Now that’s something more like my style
This bike and the one in the picture below was for the police force, of course the are classic.

Last week I was at the KO fighting ganne festival, since I’m a previous street fighter player I was excited to attend.
As usual I arrived super early to the event; I received an invitation from the white tower group who organized the event.
One of the special things of this event is that about 14 international players were invited to compete in the festival, most where from Japan including word renowned street fighter player “Dido” , some players from Singapore, Justin Wong from the United States and Rayan Hart from the UK.
The organization of the event one the best I’ve seen yet, there were about 11 screens for the players and one main screen for the audience, a D.J., commentators both English and Arabic and a display for action characters.
It was really exciting and nice organization, thank you white tower.

The founder of Fikra have got Kuwait two spot in the Tougeki qualifiers held in Japan August 4 & 5
The details:
Tougeki Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Kuwait Qualifiers information and structure.
Date: Thursday July 12 @6PM
Location: GUST University Main Auditorium
Double Elimination Tournament
All matches will be 3/5 and all finals will be 4/7
There will be 2 winners.
Winner 1 = 400KD + Tougeki invite
Winner 2 = 200KD + Tougeki invite
PLEASE NOTE YOU ARE STILL REQUIRED TO PAY ALL FEES FOR YOUR TRIP TO JAPAN
Tougeki in Japan will be on August 4 & 5

Last week i was invited for the BlackBerry event at the JW Marriott hotel. Research In Motion (RIM), the owner of BlackBerry, wanted to interact with the BB users and provide their road map, in addition talk about the waited BalckBerry 10 that will be out late this year or early next year.
The event was at 7 pm but i was there 5:45 pm and everybody was like “He’s here!! he’s heeeeeere!!” i know i have this kind of influence sometimes 
The staff were welcoming and i had a brief chat with the organizers and then with the RIM people, i got the basic information then i had to leave before the event started.

It wasn’t a dream, it wasn’t wishes it was a dream reality. Two days ago Barcelona sad farewell to their football coach one of the best football coaches in the world Josep Guardiola (جوزيب جوارديولا) AKA Pep.
Although i’m not a fanatic Barcelona fan, yet Pep has charisma plus his outstanding achievements with Barca. For that Pep received a dream farewell that deserves this post

Becomes the first coach to ever complete “The Sextuple”
Defeated Real Madrid 9 times
Coached 242 games, won 175 drew 46 and lost 21
Had a winning rate of 72%
