Road to EVO 2013

Some of you might read the title of this post and say what’s EVO will here you go:

The Evolution Championship Series is an annual video game tournament that focuses exclusively on fighting games. In fighting game communities it is commonly referred to as “Evo”, and is currently the premier video game tournament for fighting games.

Fikra will be organizing this event for Kuwait qualifiers and the winner will travel to LAS VEGAS to attend the EVO championship.

The detail are in the poster above if you are interested join the qualifiers and play to win, best of luck to you all.

I shall be there and see all of you kick ass ;)

Kuwait Battle Royal interview

Personally i attended the 2 day event, i really enjoyed my time there and i have a passion for street fighter ;) those professional players really kicked ass but i was proud of Aziz (the guy in the first pic) for winning street fighter against serious pros :)

Our friends at National Gaming Union are organizing the first Ramadan 3 day gaming tournament, details are below:

I know this tournament will not be easy to win you really have to be one of the best ;) so before heading to the tournament eat well ;)

Kuwaiti Deal card game (^_^) getting addicted

We all know the board game Monopoly back in the days, it evolved to a card game called Deal and now we have a Kuwaiti version from it and i’m getting addicted to it :)

What i like about the idea is your locally customizing an international iconic game that makes it related to our culture. Look at the cards below.

If your a Monopoly deal card game player or just want to play the games i would strongly recommend that you try the local one its more related to our culture and i’m very sure you will like it more.

The founder of Fikra have got Kuwait two spot in the Tougeki qualifiers held in Japan August 4 & 5

The details:

Tougeki Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Kuwait Qualifiers information and structure.

Date: Thursday July 12 @6PM
Location: GUST University Main Auditorium
Double Elimination Tournament

All matches will be 3/5 and all finals will be 4/7

There will be 2 winners.

Winner 1 = 400KD + Tougeki invite
Winner 2 = 200KD + Tougeki invite

PLEASE NOTE YOU ARE STILL REQUIRED TO PAY ALL FEES FOR YOUR TRIP TO JAPAN

Tougeki in Japan will be on August 4 & 5

All participants must arrive by 5:30PM to confirm their attendance

Snoop Dogg Takes On Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Well, I don’t know what to call this… but it seems that Namco Bandai is trying “too” hard to impress people by calling in some pimpalicious favors from Snoop Dogg. I don’t know about you but Namco’s Tekken has been on the decline lately, at least to me. I’d rather see the guys behind tekken try a little harder, gameplay wise, rather than adding in secondary elements to the game.

Snoop Dogg is now the honorable host that can be found sitting in a throne-like chair in one of the game stages in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Whether Snoop Dogg is going to be an unlock-able character in the game is yet to be seen.

The song is kinda cool though, and I really hope to see better gameplay this time around. The game is due to be released later in September of 2012.

Shadowloo qualifiers to Australia – Ous!

Fikra is organizing Shadowloo qualifiers to Australia, two play station games which who wins will represent Kuwait :D

The Games are:

1-Street Fighter

2-Marvel

Extra Street Fighter cross Teken

Where as i sad the winner in the first two games will get a full paid trip to Australia and the winner in the Extra event will get a Play Station Vita

Our new RC cars ;)

Yah baby we’er going old school and got our selves a long awaited quest :) yes me and Itsallg000d wanted to get RC cars for some time, i took the initiative and bought my battery French made RB one that can sprint 100km/h yes ;) then Itsallg000d got his Japanese crawler Lunchbox.

Before i say anything more about the RB one check out how this baby moves ;)

This baby was ready to go out of the box for KD 200 then the battery and the charger ad KD 75 do the math

As for the Luchbox its a cruller meaning slower and it’s more fun on non-flat land it cost KD 140 but it was dismantled so you need to assemble the car and buy a remote with battery and charger.

Itsallg000d and i go out once a week to have fun with them, usually when we do crowds gather around us to see and have fun :/

If you guys have an RC car let’s get together and make some damage
