
I’ve been on diet for about 3 weeks, i go through same menu everyday my breakfast has to have salad, turkey slices, and boiled/poached eggs. I do all best to make meals look & taste good, being an omelette guy i had to do something!
An idea came to mind earlier this week to have poached or baked omelette (without oil off course) assuming the whole idea of boiled/poached eggs is to limit fat content. Well, it turned tasting good .. different flavor profile and very close in taste and texture to eggs quiche but without the cheese
The whole idea and steps are very easy to execute, all you need egg, plastic wrap to make egg pouch, and anything you may want to have with your omelette (mushroom, cheese, turkey, tomatoes … etc) I made mine with egg, black pepper for seasoning, chopped parsley and turkey.
